About The Position

The Brake & Alignment Technician is responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components. This role emphasizes providing excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
  • Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

  • Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
  • Testing and installing batteries.
  • Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies and rebalancing wheels.
  • Replacing, rebuilding, and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
  • Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
  • Assisting other employees as needed.
  • Test driving vehicles.
  • Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
  • Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
