About The Position
PayPal, Inc. seeks Braintree Software Engineer in San Jose, CA. The role involves analyzing requirements, preparing designs, and developing robust, scalable software systems using object-oriented programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Ruby on Rails. The engineer will build high-quality software products with comprehensive tests, ensure code quality and maintainability, and evolve architecture and tech stack. Responsibilities include developing best-in-class test automation code, conducting functional and non-functional testing, and building integrated omnichannel solutions for next-gen commerce experiences. Collaboration in a cross-functional team environment is essential to develop payment terminal device applications and Point of Sale (POS) systems. The position allows for telecommuting and can be performed anywhere in the US.
