We are looking for a Business Process Outsourcing Senior to join our Advisory Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience in government contracting accounting, outsourced accounting or public accounting
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); CAS experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with job cost accounting and project-based financial reporting
  • Experience using Unanet ERP (GovCon) and QuickBooks, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time management, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and execute assigned BPO engagements for government contracting clients
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client operations, contract types (cost-plus, T&M, fixed price), and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and review workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with FAR and CAS requirements
  • Review and analyze monthly and year-end financial statements, including required disclosures
  • Perform detailed job cost accounting, including review of direct and indirect costs, labor distribution, and contract profitability
  • Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare timely account reconciliations
  • Perform daily and periodic accounting activities, including cash postings and bank reconciliations
  • Assist with indirect rate structures, cost pools, and allocation methodologies
  • Support DCAA audits, incurred cost submissions, and compliance-related requests
  • Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and government contracting regulations
  • Research and resolve accounting and compliance issues
  • Interact with client management to recommend accounting, compliance, and process improvements
  • Mentor and train staff and contribute to professional development
