About The Position

The Village School of Naples is looking for a Boys Varsity Tennis Head Coach for the Spring 2026 season. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tennis Coach to lead and develop our Boys Varsity Tennis Team. Requirements

Proven experience coaching tennis at the high school or equivalent level
Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and develop student-athletes
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and students
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Plan and implement training sessions, practices, and game strategies tailored to the skill levels of varsity players
Provide individual coaching and feedback to improve players’ techniques, tactics, and overall performance
Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating team culture
Scout and analyze opponents to develop effective game plans
Monitor players’ academic and personal development, promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork
Coordinate with school administration, athletic trainers, and other staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety standards
Organize and oversee team travel, equipment management, and other logistical needs
Attend and support team events, matches, and tournaments
