Requirements

• Knowledge of and training in the specific activity.
• Successful interview.
• Applicant must show evidence to the RIPCOA that he/she has completed an approved first aid and CPR/AED course.
• Proof of current and valid First Aid, CPR & AED cards.
• Must have completed the following prior to first practice: NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course, NFHS Concussion course, & NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Protecting Students from Abuse, Heat Illness Prevention, Student mental Health & Suicide prevention, First Aid, Health, and Safety, and a Sport Specific Course

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in coaching or moderating the specific activity, preferred.
