About The Position

The Boys Basketball Head Coach for West Kempsville Youth Athletics is responsible for leading and developing a youth basketball team for children aged 5-7. This part-time, temporary, and seasonal role focuses on teaching the fundamentals of basketball while instilling values of character and discipline in young players. The coach will conduct practices and games, fostering a positive and fun environment for the children as they embark on their basketball journey.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of sports coaching experience.
• 5 years of basketball experience.
• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement in sports coaching.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the youth basketball team for children aged 5-7.
