About The Position

UFC Gym located in Reno, Nevada is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivating coach skilled in Boxing & Kickboxing to lead adult and youth classes in our fun and energizing exciting class environment. This coaching position is responsible for ensuring a positive member experience and is responsible for delivering great coaching for member classes, private training & helping members achieve goals. This position teaches Monday through Friday evenings and requires a minimum of one day on the weekend on either Saturday or Sunday and possibly a combination of both days.

Requirements

Provide a quality, enthusiastic and energetic environment to coach and motivate young athletes and adults in the sport of boxing/kickboxing/MMA; supervises and instructs boxing participants on safe boxing/kickboxing techniques and physical training regimens.
Theories, concepts, principles, and practices common to field of boxing/kickboxing/MMA.
Supplies and equipment required for a boxing/kickboxing/MMA program.
Rules and regulations governing the conduct and safety of persons using boxing facilities and equipment.
In depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design.
Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to generate, maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Possess a strong customer service focus.
Responds professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff.
Understands and follow oral and written instructions.
Communicates clearly and concisely.
Possesses strong organizational skills.
Understands basic record keeping practices and procedures.
Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Experience operating office equipment such as computers, calculators, fax and photocopiers.
Must be computer proficient with basic skills in Word and Excel.
Ability to work, setup and execute successful weekends
Extroverted/Self motivator/Customer service minded
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 1 - 3 years of boxing/kickboxing/MMA coaching experience
Group Class Coaching/ Teaching 1 - 3 - years' experience.

Nice To Haves

Current CPR/AED certification (preferred)
Certification from organization and/or Pro-Am fight background (preferred).

Responsibilities

Sales Execution on Key Metrics
Conduct Group Training with Members
Assist members and encourage member involvement in private training.
Ensure accurate administration of client programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking and workout programs.
Arrives on time, prepared and attentive for training appointments.
Assist or participate in activities, including but not limited to: seminars, workshops, etc.
Coach group and personal training sessions.
Perform “Starter Sessions” for new members and prospective activities that may generate personal training sessions.
Conduct safe and effective private boxing/kickboxing/MMA class and private training sessions.
Be a brand ambassador of UFC Gym and its “Train Different” philosophy
Bring T.R.A.I.N (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble) to life
Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces at all times
