Box Truck Driver
About The Position
TOMRA operating as Clynk, is an international recycling company, is looking for a Box Truck Driver to transport used beverage containers and store supplies in a safe and timely manner. HOURS: 6:00-7:00Am Start time Sunday- Wednesday PAY: $18/hr Job Description Operates a box truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service Loads, secures and unloads cargo Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- Must have a "satisfactory" driving record.
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50lbs +
- Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
- A polite and professional disposition
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
- A high school diploma
