About The Position

Job Summary The Box Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle, perform inspections, and follow all loading/unloading procedures. This role requires excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with all DOT and company safety standards.

Requirements

• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly.
• Must have a Class D driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must have forklift certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must participate and c omply with a ll C ompany policies & procedures.
• Must be able to work during assigned schedule, with some weekend and/or overtime as needed.
• 90 Day Probation Period.
• At Will Employment.
• Slip Resistant Shoes are required in All Manufacturing Locations.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in related fields is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly.
• Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness, organization, and operational conditions.
• Do a visual inspection of all materials handled, to ensure the quality of the materials meet or exceed Rimports product standards.
• Safely load, unload, and handle freight using pallet jacks, lift gates, dollies, or by hand.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude with internal and external customers.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
