The Opportunity We’re hiring a dependable Box Truck Driver (26 ft) to perform secure IT equipment pickups from schools and businesses across the region. This is a hands-on role. You’ll be driving, loading and unloading equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and representing ER2 professionally at client sites. If you’re reliable, organized, comfortable traveling, and ready to be part of a strong team — this is a long-term opportunity with a growing company.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck
- Willing and able to travel overnight (up to 50%)
- Able to lift 70–100 lbs consistently
- Strong time-management and organization skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Customer-service mindset
- Basic computer skills (Excel / Google Sheets)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
- Must possess or obtain DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate prior to start (company covers cost if needed)
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving larger commercial vehicles
- Warehouse or logistics experience
Responsibilities
- Drive a 26-foot box truck for assigned pickup routes
- Perform local and regional client pickups (multi-state at times)
- Load, secure, transport, and unload IT equipment safely
- Provide professional, courteous service at client locations
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Track pickups and inventory accurately using basic computer tools
- Sort and process electronics in the warehouse
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and lifts (certification training as needed)
- Maintain clean vehicles and organized work areas
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
