JOB DETAILS Base pay starts at $25.00 Per Hour Shift: Day Shift, Full Time DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Driver will be expected to transport, deliver, and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a Box Truck. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with general public, understand highway traffic signs/signals, respond to inquiries and to make entries on reports/records per DOT Reg 391.11 Complete all assigned delivery routes. Driver will deliver to local construction jobsites and is responsible for manually offloading product Address customer questions, issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashion Represent the company in a professional manner at all times in both actions and personal appearance Adhere to Cascade policies and procedures Complete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legibly Maintain driver logs and inspections Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized condition Uphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulations Load and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloading Will spend 50% time loading/unloading and 50% of the time driving

Requirements

  • Valid CDL B driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
  • Must be DOT compliant
  • 2 years of previous Box Truck driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
  • Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phone
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist with or without assistance
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and written
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities
