About The Position

Hello! We are looking for a dedicated Box Packaging Team Member I to join the family! Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. Today, Del Real Food makes tamales, carnitas, salsas, and other recipes inspired by the Cardenas' native Jalisco -- all created by hand with fresh ingredients and nothing artificial. The Box Pack team member works under close supervision the employee performs a full range of packing assignments using a supervisor or other higher-level guidance at all products leave the plant in compliance with consumer expectations. The employee will provide support to the Packing team on pulling, staging, organizing, and casing the final product. This position will support the packing team in reducing downtime online change over’s and assure peak packing line efficiency.

Requirements

Must be responsible and fast learner.
Knowledgeable in mathematics
Must have good organization skills
High School (able to read write)
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures
Being able to perform all activities relating to product management. (Counting, Packing, Sealing, and putting product into boxes or trays)
Always work with good manufacture practices.
Preferably, be knowledgeable in mathematics
Ensure that all procedures and work instructions are followed, to maintain product safety for all customers.
Check date codes stamped, and weight information against the daily schedule.
Check the appearance of product and assure that it meets the established parameters and customer expectations.
Must reassure that pouches are properly sealed.
Must have a positive attitude when helping peers, leaders, or supervisors.
Assist packing team in the completion of their orders: assistance will be given to this accomplishment by all supervisors and leads.
Clean and maintain assigned area in safe sanitary condition, insuring product safety
Maintain hygiene, follow GMP’S, follow SQF and USDA guidelines
Verify that equipment is in good working condition.
Effectively operate plant equipment
