About The Position

The Box Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily sales and service operations at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. This role involves managing ticket sales, assisting box office clerks, and ensuring excellent customer service for patrons attending games and events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • At least 1-year related experience and/or training.
  • Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Computer literate - ability to navigate through multiple screens and application systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing business processes.
  • Active listening and attention to detail.
  • Self-sufficient and dependable.
  • Appropriate business acumen including professional appearance and demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the sports and entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge with Tickets.com system.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling box office clerks.
  • Assist box office clerks with ProVenue and digital ticketing troubleshooting and questions.
  • Assist with renewal and servicing of all Season Ticket and Mini-Plan accounts for Tigers Spring Training and Lakeland Flying Tigers regular and post-season.
  • Assist with renewal of season ticket and mini plan requests throughout the season.
  • Assist in providing technical support for ticketing equipment as needed.
  • Assist the department in processing and mailing ticket orders.
  • Process single game and event sales at the box office.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service in person and by phone.
  • Assist in responding to ticketing and customer service-related emails/text in a friendly, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Assist with Box Office reporting and other related functions as determined by the Box Office Manager and Director, Business Development.
  • Provide accurate information to patrons concerning games, events, and ticket policies and procedures.
  • Assist with printing and processing season, group, corporate partnership ticket orders in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and clean data, performing data cleansing, including the merging of duplicate accounts, as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance of ticket inventory and digital manifest.
  • Assist Box Office Manager and Director, Business Development with special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
