About The Position

At MGM Resorts International, we are looking for a Box Office Supervisor who will be responsible for creating an amazing guest experience. This role involves overseeing ticket counter operations, maintaining ticketing systems, and ensuring that our guests have memorable experiences. The starting rate for this position is $22.50.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of Ticket Office experience or Cash Handling
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Experience in Box Office/ticketing, events, live entertainment in a casino setting
  • Basic knowledge of Ticketmaster, including: Archtics, TMOne and Host
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Energetic individual

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ticket counter operations to ensure agents maximize revenue and assist guests quickly and effectively.
  • Supervise ticket agents, assign locations, manage breaks, and reassign staff as needed.
  • Answer guest questions and provide details about property amenities and local attractions.
  • Boost employee engagement and guest experience through coaching, recognition, and training.
  • Support the Ticketing Manager in maintaining event inventory in ticketing systems (Archtics, TM1, Patron, VIPR), and report any system issues.
  • Help train new ticket agents.
  • Keep show and event information up to date in the ticketing system.
  • Generate event reports for senior leadership, management, and promoters.
  • Resolve guest complaints or escalate to management if necessary; notify management or security of unusual events or theft.
  • Manage guest queues and stanchions.
  • Prepare financial settlement documents for finance and promoters after shows.
