Box Office Rep. - Seasonal Saratoga
About The Position
Main responsibilities include suggesting, selling, and upselling a full menu of ticket types to patrons entering or inside Saratoga Racecourse using any applicable ticket software. Ticket types can include, but are not limited to admission, seating, dining, and premium hospitality. The Box Office Representative will identify and troubleshoot any physical or digital ticketing problems that may arise, demonstrate a helpful understanding of general track information and always deliver exceptional customer service. Additionally, select position locations will be responsible for maintaining and distributing will-call tickets. Position locations: Gate A Box Office, Gate B Will-call booth, Gate D Will-call booth, The Stretch Sales Desk, Ding Sales Desk
Nice To Haves
- High school or some college preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Sell, upsell, and suggest ticketing options to on track patrons
- Identify and troubleshoot ticketing problems
- Greet and welcome patrons to the track
- Maintain and distribute will-call tickets to patrons
- Learn and use any applicable ticketing software(s) or reservation system(s)
- Demonstrate a helpful understanding of general track information
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned
