About The Position

The Box Nutra Associate (also referred to as the Ingredient Scooper) is responsible for accurately measuring, weighing, and packaging powdered nutritional ingredients in accordance with BoxNutra's Standard Operating Procedures. This position ensures products are mixed, bagged, sealed, labeled, and stored to meet quality, safety, and production standards. This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written SOPs and work instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills (weight conversions, precision).
Ability to stand, lift, and move 25–50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in supplement, food, or pharmaceutical production.
Understanding of lot tracking and inventory control practices.

Responsibilities

Retrieve ingredient pallets and move them into the designated scooping location.
Verify each labeled bag's SKU and lot number against its corresponding ingredient barrel before scooping.
Scoop powdered ingredients into clear inner bags, ensuring weights match order requirements (100g, 500g, 1kg, or 2.5kg).
Record end weights and product SKUs for each scooped ingredient.
Place filled inner bags into pre-labeled outer bags for final packaging.
Operate the heat sealer to securely seal bags according to BoxNutra standards.
Verify that all labels are properly affixed, legible, and accurate (lot number, expiration date, SKU, and weight).
Place completed bags on the designated rack for transfer to the BoxNutra picking location.
Record leftover quantities after scooping and update the note sheet with SKU, date, initials, and remaining weight.
Notify the supervisor or inventory team if discrepancies arise between physical and system quantities.
Support periodic cycle counts and pallet consolidation activities as needed.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and BoxNutra SOPs to prevent contamination or product mix-ups.
Clean scooping tools between products to avoid cross-contamination.
Report any damaged, expired, or spoiled ingredients immediately for proper disposal.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Wear required PPE - gloves, coat, and respirator - throughout the scooping process.
Follow all safety procedures for handling powders and equipment.
