About The Position

The Box Machine Operator is responsible for making and placing boxes on conveyer or stacking onto pallet in required stacking patterns using proper equipment and procedures. This role works closely with the department supervisors, other department leads and employees, in order to accomplish accuracy within the processing department and to ensure that our customers receive quality products.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must have basic math skills
• Must wear required personal protective equipment and clothing
• Must follow company GMP and Food Safety procedure Must be able to supply box machine with glue and unfolded cartons in an efficient manner
• Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on a wet concrete floor and stand in a cold (40-48 degree) dusty environment
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Must be able to stack made up cartons onto pallets to a height of 6 feet

Responsibilities

• Make up corrugated cartons and place them on the box conveyor or stack onto pallet in required stacking patterns
• Maintain proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements
