About The Position
Freight Breakers LLC is currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Box Loaders/Unloaders in West Jordan. Position Overview: This position involves physically handling freight in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with an emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Loading: Manually load boxes from a conveyor onto trailers, ensuring organized and secure placement. Use scanning equipment to track shipments and assist with moving cages to and from staging areas. Unloading: Unload boxes from floor-loaded trailers onto a conveyor, scan items, and sort them into designated cages. Compensation: Paid per trailer or per case loaded/unloaded Average earnings: $150–$200 per day ($15–$25 per hour equivalent) Top performers may earn $25–$35 per hour based on productivity Performance-based pay structure: higher productivity results in higher earnings
Requirements
- Strong attendance and punctuality are essential
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift and carry 5–50 lbs consistently
- Capable of sustained physical activity for extended periods
- Reliable transportation required
