About The Position
Box Loader/Unloader – West Jordan, UT Freight Breakers LLC is currently hiring motivated and reliable team members for Box Loader/Unloader positions in West Jordan. This is a physically active role ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven by performance-based pay. Job Overview As part of our team, you will play a key role in efficiently moving freight in and out of trailers while maintaining accuracy and safety. Loading Responsibilities: Hand-load boxes from a conveyor onto trailers (floor loading) Scan packages into the trailer using handheld devices Move cages to and from staging areas Ensure loads are organized, secure, and handled efficiently Unloading Responsibilities: Unload boxes from trailers onto a conveyor system Scan packages and sort them into designated cages Maintain speed and accuracy in a high-volume workflow Compensation: Performance-based pay: $150–$200+ per day Paid per trailer / per case loaded or unloaded Average earnings: $15–$25 per hour Top performers can earn $25–$35 per hour The more efficiently you work, the more you earn Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM 10-hour shifts (4-day workweek) Occasional weekend work as needed Requirements: Strong attendance and punctuality are essential Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Must be able to lift and carry 5–50 lbs consistently Capable of sustained physical activity for extended periods Reliable transportation required Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Additional Information: Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person (West Jordan, UT) Relocation to the area is required prior to starting Freight Breakers LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/Veterans/Disabled).
