The Bowling Host is a line-level position responsible for ensuring the day-to-day tasks of both the bowling and restaurant facilities are met. This role combines the responsibilities of both a Bowling Host and a Restaurant Host, requiring knowledge of company policies and procedures to provide an excellent guest experience. Bowling Hosts start at $11.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong task and time management skills / Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Preferably related experience in a dynamic restaurant atmosphere
• Preferably experience in customer service
• Candidates must meet physical requirements to effectively perform job responsibilities. This includes standing for long periods of time, walking, sitting, utilization of hands and arms, maneuvering up and down stairs with no difficulty, and lifting up to fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with their check-in, assigning lanes, and ensuring they feel informed about the bowling facility.
• Manage lane bookings, accommodate walk-ins, and communicate wait times effectively.
• Help guests select and fit appropriate bowling equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization.
• Provide support with troubleshooting scoring systems, addressing ball/pin jams, and resolving lane-related issues.
• Maintain the bowling area’s cleanliness and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
