About The Position

KBR is seeking an Instructor to provide Bounty Hunter mission qualification training to Guardians at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. A strong candidate will have experience operating the Bounty Hunter, Counter-Communications System weapon systems (or equivalent) and instructing. KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.

Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 3+ years of instructor experience, preferably using the ADDIE model or ISD.
  • Experience instructing Counter Communications System, Bounty Hunter, or equivalent weapon systems and associated training programs.
  • Working knowledge of operational-level command and control.
  • Ability to work swing shifts, depending on ops tempo.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines with minimal guidance.
  • Skilled in public speaking.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare quality products, including lesson plans and briefings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to work in a secure, confined location (e.g., SCIF).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating or knowledge of Patriot Excalibur (PEX).

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom instruction consistent with Instructional System Development (ISD).
  • Develop, validate, and review training products, including lesson plans, scripts, visual aids, and input cards.
  • Coordinate students, resources, and room availability.
  • Identify and recommend improvements or upgrades to systems.
  • Interface with internal and external agencies as required, maintaining up-to-date training programs.
  • Coordinate instructional activities with training managers and government training personnel.
