Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in business; prefer Bachelor Degree.
  • Minimum four years experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned line(s) KPIs, update visual management tools, provide regular updates to the Department Manager, and collaborate with line operators to troubleshoot issues and identify best practices.
  • Ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as updating work orders in SAP, documenting production totals, line issues, and reviewing hourly employee timesheets.
  • Monitor and control various raw material inventories necessary for production.
  • Partner with the maintenance department to ensure line(s) is in optimal working condition to support efficient operations.
  • Supervise the regular working schedule and overtime awarding process.
  • Supervise and train union employees on the assigned line(s).
  • Facilitate and attend daily start-up meetings and departmental meetings.
  • Assist with projects, special assignments, and QSD studies as needed.
