About The Position

The Bottling Supervisor at Mizkan Americas, Inc. is responsible for efficiently managing both human and equipment resources in the Vinegar Bottling department. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring adherence to quality and manufacturing standards, and building a strong, achievement-oriented team. The supervisor will plan and assign work for bottling line employees, hire and train staff, and analyze and resolve production-related problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. - Associate degree is preferred, Bachelor's is desirable.
• A minimum of 2-4 years Supervisory experience in bottling, liquid filling, blending, and/or packaging industries.
• Well organized, results oriented, and effective problem-solving ability.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Programs; AX is desirable.
• Self-starter who can work without supervision.
• Good organizational skills and sound reasoning skills.
• Ability to monitor packaging supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Ability to delegate authority.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong, achievement-oriented team using hiring, delegation, training, monitoring, feedback, coaching, motivation, mentoring, and employee retention techniques.
• Supervise daily operations of assigned bottling production consistent with customer and company requirements.
• Plan, layout, and assign work for bottling line employees in accordance with production schedule.
• Hire, train, monitor, discipline, evaluate, and develop employees.
• Enforce organizational policies and rules of conduct.
• Ensure adherence to applicable quality and manufacturing standards, and GMP's.
• Analyze and resolve problems relating to product quality, product quantity, processes, materials, scrap, waste, personnel, etc.
• Record efficiencies ratings to improve yields and throughput.
• Provide technical assistance to operators in resolution of production problems and sanitation rules and requirements.
• Complete required production reports as required.
• Responsible for Food Quality, Safety and Legality.
