GrubStreet is the leading literary arts center in the country, located in the Seaport District in Boston, Massachusetts. We are a passionate and dedicated team of professionals who take pride in our work and are committed to creating a warm and supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a Boston Writers of Color (BWOC) Program Manager (Part-Time) to play a key role in helping GrubStreet to support our mission. The BWOC Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for BWOC members and oversees all communications, program planning, and community engagement for the group. This role includes managing member inquiries, coordinating quarterly events and programs, maintaining the BWOC online presence, and collaborating with GrubStreet staff to ensure BWOC members have access to meaningful professional development and community-building opportunities. This is a part-time position averaging about 10 hours per month or 2.5 hours per week. GrubStreet strives to dismantle every system, process, or structure that would discourage any person from working with us. We actively seek diversity, equity and inclusivity because the excellence of our work and the value of its impact depend on them. We strive to create an environment where the perspectives we bring to our work are valued as much as the work we produce.
