See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As part of the talented Pre Fab team, you will be a skilled and detail-oriented professional responsible for utilizing tools while cutting kits from a variety of materials such as fiberglass, wood and bulk materials. You will need to read blueprints, schematics and bills of material to provide the essential kits to our line of legendary boats. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: · Uses a variety of machines and saws to cut fiberglass, wood and bulk materials for boat lines · Cuts materials to proper specifications and assembles materials into kits for various boat lines, to be inserted into boats during the Lamination Process. · Operates and maintains various saws to include: Jig, Band and Table Saws. · Operates and maintains routers, grinders and electric shears. · Uses template and blueprints to cut fiberglass, wood and bulk materials · Cuts materials to specifications and assembles kits for lamination. · Reads Bills of Material to properly assemble kits. · Follows daily production schedule to complete in a timely manner. · Recordkeeping and Housekeeping. · Makes sure all work is performed in a safe manner. · May perform other duties as necessary. Requirements

  • Must always follow all safety and quality standards, including chemical handling standards and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Proactive team player who is a self-starter with constant attention to improvement.
  • Strong mechanical Experience reading blueprints is preferred
  • Basic skills in forklift, overhead hoist, and computer skills preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
  • Ability to work with fellow coworkers in close proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect
  • Ability to read and/or hear, interpret and/or understand instructions given verbally or written and exchange accurate information with others.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and method
  • Ability to remain extremely focused and organized with a high-attention to detail / high degree of accuracy.
  • Able to work with multiple priorities and people.
  • High school diploma or GED required
