About The Position

The BOSS Fulfillment Outfitter at Cabela's is responsible for enhancing the shopping experience by efficiently processing online orders through the Buy Online Ship from Store (BOSS) system. This role involves filling orders, sorting, packing, and loading merchandise for shipment to customers and retail locations, ensuring that products are handled with care to maintain quality and presentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and customers.
• Ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple functions within the back room of the retail store such as receiving, inspecting, and filling orders.
• Sort merchandise into order groupings and pack using appropriate containers for shipment.
• Fill retail and direct customer orders by inspecting and matching merchandise to orders.
• Move merchandise among warehouse locations using authorized material handling equipment or manually load/unload trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety procedures in the work environment.
• Attend mandatory training and in-services including orientation and safety training.
• Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions on the sales floor.
• Communicate any issues affecting job execution, such as short picks or out of stocks.
