What you will do: As a Boomi Integration Developer you will build and support integrations between our various internal/external systems using Boomi AtomSphere. You’ll configure Boomi processes, map data, test and deploy integrations, and keep them healthy with clear logging and support runbooks. This is a hands-on builder role with strong mentorship and a growth path. The key to being successful in this role will be to focus on the following: Process and automation optimization, between various Applications. In our Hybrid Work environment, you will be collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Data Analytics Developers/Analysts, D365 Analysts, and external vendors. The role requires a strong appreciation for our Farmer Owners, Customers, Co-workers, and a “Day in a life of” approach to appreciate how technology can “Make It Better Than Has To Be”.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years in application/integration development or related experience (internships and project work welcome).
  • Hands-on with Boomi AtomSphere (Integration) building processes, maps, and connectors.
  • Familiarity with REST, JSON, XML, CSV, SFTP, and basic API concepts.
  • Basic SQL skills; comfort reading/writing queries for validation.
  • Understanding of authentication and security (OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, secrets management, encryption in transit).
  • Clear communication, curiosity, and a habit of documenting what you build.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Boomi processes (shapes, connectors, maps, profiles) for D365 Finance & Supply Chain and/or CE/Dataverse.
  • Implement integrations using OData/REST, file based (SFTP, DISK, Azure Blob), database, and messaging (Azure Service Bus/Queues).
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry, processing, and reporting.
  • Manage Boomi atoms/molecules, connection settings, and environment extensions.
  • Build transformations (JSON/XML/CSV) and field mappings between endpoints.
  • Support recurring data jobs (imports/exports).
  • Write unit and integration tests; validate data and handle errors with retries/alerts.
  • Document runbooks and support procedures; instrument processes with meaningful logs and metrics.
  • Work with product owners, analysts, and vendors to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs.
  • Contribute to standards for naming, error handling, versioning, and security.
  • Shows an ability to step into new situations and quickly comprehend the environmental landscape, to effectively work with a wide variety of functional areas and systems.
  • Communicate effectively; excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills
  • Collaborate in a team environment while exercising independent judgment and initiative.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers at all levels to understand their business drivers and work with internal customers to understand requirements and deliver/promote technical solutions as appropriate
  • Work under pressure, be self-led, meet deadlines, be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Possesses strong business acumen, and ease with a “big picture” understanding of business processes and the ability to drill-down into details as situationally required.
  • Monitor daily jobs, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in cutovers and releases; promote packages through environments using Boomi deployment tools, with versioned releases and tags.
  • Attendance at multi-day off-site training sessions, weekend and evening work, and response to after-hours emergency calls, may be required.
  • Shows an ability to step into new situations and quickly comprehend the environmental landscape, to effectively work with a wide variety of functional areas and systems.
