About The Position

Requirements

• Must maintain enrollment in at least six (6) credits at LBCC.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better.
• Have financial aid in place to be eligible for Work Study.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and mathematical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Cashiering experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to interact sensitively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating textbooks, supplies, clothing, and other merchandise.
• Cashiering and processing transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
• Receive, stock, face, and rotate merchandise.
• Process mail orders, including pulling and packaging textbooks and store merchandise.
• Develop and execute retail displays and front window displays.
• Make store deliveries on campus.
• Assist with student buyback and textbook return processing.
