About the position

The Bookseller position at Half Price Books involves engaging with customers to help them find books and other media, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a fun and fast-paced retail environment. Booksellers will perform various tasks including operating the cash register, shelving merchandise, and buying books from the public, all while promoting literacy and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service to customers.
• Share knowledge about books, movies, and music with customers and co-workers.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions.
• Shelve new merchandise and maintain store organization.
