About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly. Position Summary: The Bookkeeping Assistant is responsible for verifying paperwork on incoming shipments and related computer reports, processing vendor credits and RMA's, . This position focuses primarily on administrative and clerical tasks associated with receiving merchandise, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or office administration (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency (familiarity with inventory or POS systems a plus).
  • Good typing skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy.
  • Record and process incoming shipments in the inventory system.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain organized records of all received goods and documentation.
  • Assist with returns, credits, and damaged goods documentation.
  • Perform other related clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
