About The Position
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our accounting team at I5 Roofing and Exteriors Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position is currently temporary but has the potential to become permanent based on performance and organizational needs. In this role, you will prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You will maintain and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Conducting bank and government agency reconciliations will also be part of your responsibilities. You will manage and maintain accounting software, ensuring compliance with technical accounting standards, and assist with corporate accounting and financial reporting. Additionally, you will analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, perform account analysis and financial statement analysis, and provide accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders. Assisting with financial planning and budgeting, as well as preparing and reviewing financial reports for management and external auditors, will be key components of your role.
