About The Position

The Bookkeeper position is responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining overall financial health. The role involves various tasks including the entry of bills, monitoring cash flow, and general office responsibilities related to accounting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Two to five years bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
  • Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Business or Accounting degree preferred.
  • Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate vendor accounts, entry of bills into system, reconcile bills ensuring appropriate pricing and discounts are applied, pay bills on time and according to the terms.
  • Records daily sales and makes the deposits.
  • Collect and record balance and available credit balances on multiple accounts for cash flow purposes.
  • Maintain and upload documents to Imaging system, communicate with internal departments regarding checks and credit card charges, assist with accounting records and ledgers in posting transactions and reconciliations.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
