Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software is required; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions and completing the posting process.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
• Perform technical accounting tasks, including debits and credits management, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Collaborate with management to provide insights into financial performance and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all bookkeeping activities.
