About The Position

Mather Economics LLC is a consulting firm that provides management consulting services for subscription management and customer data analytics. We are currently looking for a bookkeeper for our home office in Atlanta, GA. The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will work full-time at the office. We are looking for an energetic professional that does not mind wearing multiple hats and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office. To be a successful hire, you will need to have prior experience in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks and be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration or Accounting, preferred but not required.
  • Experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Bill.com, Nexonia experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel (including Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

  • Make deposits and record cash receipts in QuickBooks.
  • Input bills in Bill.com.
  • Responsible for the office filing system by ensuring accounting operations are organized.
  • Create monthly client invoices and send invoices to clients.
  • Monitor receivables and identify overdue accounts - follow up with overdue clients.
  • Coordinate with project management to update monthly revenue recognition worksheets.
  • Audit and approve expense reports according to the expense policy.
  • Authorizing and handling expense reports.
  • Coordinate daily administrative and office functions, including managing mail distribution, procuring office supplies and equipment, maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate communications with vendors, service providers, and property management.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of company-wide events.
