About The Position
BFG Tax Help is an accounting firm that specializes in providing comprehensive financial services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are dedicated to assisting our clients with a wide range of functions, from basic bookkeeping to external CFO services, tax preparation, and IRS representation. Our firm also offers ancillary services, including retirement accounts and life insurance. We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer who is eager to grow and learn within our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including after-the-fact bookkeeping, individual and entity tax preparation, payroll processing, and reporting. You will also be tasked with account management, which involves handling different accounts across various industries. Time management skills are essential, as you will need to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is required to perform your duties efficiently. This position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
