About The Position

Champion Property Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Knowledge of financial report writing and analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation and budgeting processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll functions, including calculating hours worked, deductions, and issuing paychecks.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Record journal entries for all transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
• Prepare financial information for CPA regarding tax document preparation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including workers compensation audits.
