About The Position
Owl Bookkeeping and CFO Services is seeking a self-motivated accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with several clients, providing essential support in managing their day-to-day financial operations. As a bookkeeper/accountant, you will engage with small business owners, helping them navigate their financial responsibilities and making a significant impact on their operations. The variety of clients and tasks will keep your workday exciting and fulfilling, as you will be involved in diverse financial activities across different industries. In this position, you will be responsible for a range of financial transactions, including reconciling bank and credit card statements, processing payroll, 1099s, sales tax, and use tax, as well as managing accounts receivables and payables. You will also conduct balance sheet reconciliations and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. The role provides great flexibility with different assignments and presents opportunities for growth within the company, including the potential to lead others in supervisory roles. You will have the chance to add value to clients' accounting functions and operations, making a real difference in their financial departments. The work environment is diverse and inclusive, fostering collaboration and strategic thinking with clients. You will be working both onsite at client locations and at our North Loop office, with a driving radius covering Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs.
