To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com Booking Analyst - Loan Operations Team Location: CIBC US What You’ll Be Doing As a Booking Analyst on the Loan Operations Team, you’ll play a key role in closing, analyzing, booking, and servicing small to mid-size commercial and consumer loans. You’ll act as the subject matter expert on loan system requirements for entering and servicing customer, commitment, and loan information.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting Loan Documents: Review and understand loan documents such as notes or credit agreements for new, renewed, and modified loans.
  • System Setup: Accurately set up customer, facility, and loan information in the loan system for new or existing deals.
  • System Maintenance: Perform system updates related to quality control corrections and subsequent client requests, such as rate changes, payment instructions, and regulatory codes.
  • Inquiry Management: Research and respond to internal and client-related loan inquiries.
  • Supporting Department Initiatives: Assist with miscellaneous tasks related to other departmental projects and initiatives.

  • This role has an expected salary range of $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 for the Chicago market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
  • The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
