About The Position

Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established, highly respected provider of PK-12 grade fiction and non-fiction books, located in the South Metro. Our Book Shelving and Order Fulfillment department has immediate openings for seasonal help this Spring and Summer with opportunities to transition to year-round employment.

Responsibilities
Our Book Shelver and Order Fulfillment team members are responsible for accurately scanning, organizing, and shelving books within the warehouse, as well as efficiently pulling items using pick lists to fulfill customer orders. Employees are expected to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. In addition, team members must be flexible and willing to be reassigned to alternate projects or cross-trained in other departments as workflow needs evolve.
Requirements
Great attention to detail and ability to follow directions in order to ensure books are placed in the correct order.
Ability to read, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and grasp repeatedly throughout a shift.
Ability to push/pull roll carts containing books.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Additional Job Requirements (as assigned)
Capability of following detailed and precise instructions to apply labels and other materials to books.
Strong fine motor skills and ability to repetitively move fingers, hands, and arms in a coordinated manner.
Ability to remain in a seated position for 60 minutes or longer at a time, as needed.
Ability to pack or unpack boxes of books.
Ability to complete other stationary or physical tasks as assigned.
Schedules
4 - 8 hours per day, 3 - 5 days per week, Monday - Friday
Shifts may start no earlier than 7am and end no later than 5pm
