About The Position
The Book Processor/Material Handler position at the Platte River Warehouse is a full-time role focused on retrieving and processing books using a large book processing machine. This position is essential in ensuring that the warehouse operates efficiently and adheres to Goodwill's material handling procedures and guidelines. The initial work schedule is typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, five days a week, but flexibility is required to accommodate the needs of the warehouse. In this role, team members will be responsible for various tasks, including obtaining books for processing, ensuring proper handling and sorting, and maintaining the book processing machine. The position also involves moving sorted books to staging areas and preparing items for shipment. Employees will need to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain a safe working environment.
