About The Position

The Overnight Mental Health Technician at AMFM Healthcare plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges. This position involves working overnight shifts from Wednesday to Saturday, focusing on empowering clients on their path to mental wellness through personalized and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a criminal background check with the Federal Department of Justice and California Department of Social Services.
• Current valid Driver's License with 4+ years of continuous driving history without major traffic violations, at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mental health or behavioral healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of psychological principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support all Program Staff and Clients who are in the care of AMFM Healthcare.
• Conduct orientation for new clients, including safety drills and evacuation procedures.
• Coordinate and transport clients safely to daily activities, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Utilize intervention and communication skills while working with clients.
• Document client activities using an electronic health record system (EHR).
• Monitor and document client self-administration of medications, coaching clients in self-management.
• Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the residences.
• Conduct observation rounds to ensure client safety and document behavior and participation in treatment.
• Assist with intakes and discharges of clients according to policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all Joint Commission policies and procedures.

Benefits
