Aerospace Composite Bonder, Associate Position Accountabilities Perform a variety of duties of a training nature in assigned bonding area. Under instruction of a higher classified bonder or supervisor, perform a variety of bonding duties to acquire sufficient skill in order to qualify for the Bonder Sr. classification. Keep own work area clean and orderly. Refer any problems to higher classification Bonder or Supervisor. Program shop floor programmable equipment when necessary. Fabricate shop aids such as stops, guides, feeding aides and blocks to facilitate machining. Load part program and check against programming sheet before actual machine operation. Recognize improper functioning of machines and take proper corrective action. Must be able to use a variety of measuring equipment (micrometers, scales, calipers, height gauges, thickness gauges, etc.) to check own work and to perform audit and final inspection functions. Make daily maintenance check of machines and accessories. Maintain all required records. Refer unusual problems to lead or supervisor. Train and assist other employees as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requisites Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR. High School Diploma or GED. 0 to 2 years of experience. Training and mentorship guidance. Starting pay is $20 an hour.
