About The Position
The position involves obtaining managed care and Medi Cal or Medicaid authorizations, including bedholds. The role also includes managing the resident trust fund, supervising business office staff, maintaining census, and reporting status changes. The employee may attend stand-up meetings at the request of the Administrator and assist with Medi Cal or Medicaid applications. Responsibilities include preparing TARS, tracking Medi Cal and Medicaid redeterminations, participating in billing and payment processes, and undertaking collection activities for bad debts. The position requires completing operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
