About The Position

The Bolt-Up Pipefitter position at Worley's Anchorage Fabrication Facility involves performing various pipefitting tasks, including installation and removal of piping spools and valves, while adhering to safety and environmental management practices. The role requires physical labor and teamwork, with a focus on following project needs and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Knowledge of ANSI, ASME, and PFI codes and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret dimensional information from drawings and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of Pipefitters Bluebook.
  • Ability to measure accurately, layout work, cut, bevel, thread, and fit pipe.

Nice To Haves

  • Petrochemical, oilfield, or arctic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform piping spool/valve installation and removal, rigging, blinding, and minor pipe fitting.
  • Operate small hand tools and power tools, including buffer/grinders, reciprocating saws, drills, and shovels.
  • Carry and lift materials, including cribbing and shoveling snow.
  • Demonstrate and promote safe work practices and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), pre-job walk-downs, and risk assessments.
