About The Position
The Boilermaker/Welder Apprentice position must complete responsibilities delegated by the service manager that include the service and repair of boilers, burners and related accessories. This effort involves regular contact with the end users, contractors, Authorized Inspectors and also occasionally with specifying engineers who specify our equipment. Our expectation is for the Boilermaker to be performing pressure vessel repairs, general repair of boilers, estimating service work, keeping the scheduler of the work informed of daily work progress, custodian of company truck, tools, equipment and supplies and the monitoring of his own billings, costs and inventory. An inside administrative person provides office support for this position. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
