About The Position
Austin Industrial, Inc. seeks an experienced NCCER Boilermaker based in Houston, Texas. This maintenance position works 4x10s plus occasional OT - No Per Diem. The role involves constructing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. The Boilermaker will align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats, following blueprints, and will engage in the direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces. The position requires the use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles, and involves inspecting and repairing boiler fittings, such as safety valves, regulators, automatic control mechanisms, water columns, and auxiliary machines.
