About The Position

ZACHRY is currently seeking a Journeyman Boilermaker I for Maintenance work. This position involves various responsibilities related to the repair and maintenance of pressure vessels and other industrial equipment. The role requires a commitment to safety and adherence to company values.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years industrial Maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with industrial power and hand tools.
• Proficient mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate items of concern found during inspections and walk downs.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Good aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good reading comprehension.
• Ability to work with others - team player.
• Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
• Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Knowledge of safety practices to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulator.
• Demolition and Structural Fitting.
• Attach rigging and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections or other parts into place.
• Occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms, up to 300' utilizing proper fall protection.
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.
• Read job packages and follow steps/directions accordingly.
• Follow direction from supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
