Requirements

  • Proven experience on boiler systems—residential or light commercial
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Able to read schematics, manuals, and system diagrams
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Professional, courteous communication with customers
  • Self-motivated, organized, and dependable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydronic systems, condensing boilers, or automation systems is a plus
  • Prior Experience with residential plumbing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair residential and light commercial boiler systems (gas, oil, and steam)
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues using modern tools and emerging technology
  • Perform thorough inspections, safety checks, and efficiency upgrades
  • Replace defective parts, adjust controls, and optimize system performance
  • Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all codes, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and customer notes
