The successful applicant will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial boilers, perform annual inspections to boilers. The candidate must be capable of troubleshooting, repairing and testing of all boiler controls and system components. The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of various high pressure steam and hot water boiler systems (i.e. fire-tube, water-tube etc.). Applicant must have a working knowledge of industrial, commercial and process boiler/burner systems. These systems would include various boiler manufacturers equipment (Superior, Johnston, Cleaver Brooks, Hurst, Parker, etc.) and gas, oil & combination burner manufactures (S.T. Johnson, Powerflame, Maxon, etc.) & associated controls, electrical circuits, combustion and piping. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, able to work independently, and attention to detail is a must. Computer knowledge preferred, and experience on linkage less controls highly desirable (AutoFlame, Honeywell, Fireye, Siemens etc.) and knowledge of appropriate boiler related standards. The Boiler Control Technicians will provide the following services to the clients: Combustion Tuning, Boiler Start-up: New, Reconditioned & Rentals, Controls / Safety Checks, Controls / Safety for Boiler Inspections, Controls / Combustion Trouble Shooting, Low Nox Conversions, System Upgrades, Efficiency Upgrades.
