Requirements

• Experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to install and repair electrical apparatus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
• Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational skills for documenting maintenance activities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with GMP and housekeeping policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment in the facility to ensure proper function and promote efficiency.
• Monitor the high-pressure boiler for safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing process.
• Rebuild and maintain a wide range of equipment including motors, pumps, agitators, piping, valves, and process equipment.
• Evaluate needed repairs and compare costs with potential outside services to determine the most cost-effective method of repair.
• Read schematics and diagrams to accurately troubleshoot electrical, wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems.
• Document activities in an organized and accurate manner for effective communication with teammates and other employee owners.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as grinders and drills to repair or fabricate machine parts and fixtures.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment to comply with all GMP and housekeeping policies.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
