The position involves operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers and various machinery and equipment within a facility. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient operation of equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the manufacturing process.

Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment in the facility to ensure proper function and promote efficiency.
Monitor the high-pressure boiler for safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing process.
Rebuild and maintain a wide range of equipment including motors, pumps, agitators, piping, valves, and process equipment.
Evaluate needed repairs and compare costs with potential outside services to determine the most cost-effective method of repair.
Read schematics and diagrams to accurately troubleshoot electrical, wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems.
Document activities in an organized and accurate manner for effective communication with teammates and other employee owners.
Set up and operate machine tools such as grinders and drills to repair or fabricate machine parts and fixtures.
Install and repair electrical apparatus such as electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Maintain a clean work environment to comply with all GMP and housekeeping policies.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

Experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to install and repair electrical apparatus.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
Experience with preventive maintenance practices.
Strong organizational skills for documenting maintenance activities.

Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with GMP and housekeeping policies.
